1906 - 2008
 Ruth Agnes Rimmer Markin, 101, of Ona, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 3, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church by Pastor Paul Meadows. Burial will be in Rimmer Cemetery. She was born August 23, 1906, in Putnam County, a daughter of the late Fielding Rimmer and Ruth Caroline Bowles Rimmer. She was a longtime member of Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellsworth E. Markin, one daughter, Nancy Meadows. She is survived by one daughter and special son-in-law, Betty and Duke Clagg of Milton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Pat Markin of Tuscaloosa, AL and Ronnie and Linda Markin of Tyler, TX; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; and another special son-in-law, Howard Meadows. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Connie and Merle Goodpaster and their family for the loving care they have given our mother these past two and a half years.
