Allen, Abigail, Donna, Mac, Amy & Dustin,
It saddens me deeply to hear about Kathy. As I write this condolence I feel so lost and helpless to ease your pain. Kathy was a god send to me during our years at Marshall University. She was a fantastic human being and I feel honored to have called her my friend. Her sense of humor, big heart and ability to sing and play the piano had to have come straight from heaven. I am sure that her voice is echoing through those golden streets and one day we will hear it again. My love and prayers go out to you during this tragic time.

I just found out about Kathy today. I am very very sorry for your loss. Words cannot express the heartbreak that I know you are feeling. In the short time I knew Kathy, she touched my heart unlike any other. As you struggle through this time of loss and sadness, you will be thought of. Her memory will live with me for eternity, her gentle soul will remind me to enjoy life, to sit back and hug your babies, to laugh when you dont feel like it and to never ever give up. Love, Shannon

My love and condolences to Max and Donna for the loss of their lovely spirited daughter. God spoke through her talents at every turn in her life. He blessed her with a loving husband and a beautiful daughter. She has touched so many people's lives including my own. I will treasure her memory in my heart as I know everyone who knew her will do.

Allen, I was one of Kathy's nurses at St. Mary's. I was so shocked to hear of her passing. I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am for you and your family. I remember one evening in conversation, something came up about me playing the piano and singing at church. Kathy just seemed to light up and began talking about her love of music and the church. After reading the other condolences, I know she is now with the Lord. Please know that you and your little girl will remain in my prayers. Your love for Kathy was so evident to all of us through the amazing care you gave her. "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and no faint. Isaiah 40:31

Donna and Max, I am so sorry to have read about Kathy. There just is not enough words to express how I am feeling for your family. If there is anything at all that I can do for you just call me. I am very sorry that I did not know any thing before now so that I could at least have been there for you. I love you both.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy is extended to you and your family.
Kathy and I first met during my year as principal at Central School. She worked for me at Peyton, and I considered her not only a colleague, but a special Christian sister and friend.
Though saddened by her departure from us here, I know we'll meet together in God's "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere."
May God comfort you and your family.

So sorry to hear about Kathy's passing. I always looked forward to seeing her come to vote, so she could tell me all about her little girl, and what she had been doing. I know she will be greatly missed, she always had time to talk anywhere you seen her, she was always smiling. May the Lord comfort you in this time until you meet with her again.

My sincere sympathy to everyone in Kathy's family. I worked with Kathy at Peyton Elementary many years ago. She was a very creative teacher and her students loved her. She also blessed us by singing often for special events at the school. It was obvious how much Kathy loved her family as she always spoke fondly about Mom, Dad, Amy, Uncle Max, Aunt Janet, and especially Dustin. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Vickie Orsini

Allen and Abigail, I am so sorry to hear about Kathy passing away. I never dreamed of this ever happening. The last 8 months or so I had really got even closer to you and Kathy and the both of you were calling and checking on me and offering me help. I am ashamed that I couldn't have done more for your family. It breaks my heart to think what your family is going through at this time. I really would love to tell you it will get easier but I would be foolish in saying that because the love you and Kathy had for each other is something that was so immaculate that it is irreplaceable. If I can do anything please let me know. Love, Dave, Nikki and Hannah.

Mackie, Donna, and Amy,
I am so sad to hear about Kathy. She was not only Amy's big sister, she was Stacy's, Terri's, and mine as well. I want to say that Kathy left us with great memories of putting up with us through our teenage years. The good Lord knows she did and is the only one who knows why. She took us everywhere we wanted to go. I remember a 20 piece box of Chicken McNuggets sliding across the dashboard of the Falcon. What I would give to take just one more ride with my dearest friends in that car, at night, windows down, and of course, freezing.... in London. These are the kind of memories that should be held on to. Kathy has left a void for us, but heaven has gained an angel.
I pray that God gives you much comfort through all of this by surrounding you with a band of angels. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Steph

This is Scott, the Occupational Therapist at St. Mary's that worked with Kathy. I am never very good at this type of thing. I first want to say that I am very very sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed working with Kathy and getting to know her as a person. I also wanted to send my condolences to her husband, family, and especially her little girl, who Kathy always spoke about. Again I am sorry and if there is anything we can do here at St. Mary's then please let us know.
