Dear Mrs. Hardesty, Jean, Susie, and Linda: I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr Hardesty. I will never forget his kindness (and Mrs Hardesty) to me during my growing up years. He and Vivian always treated me like another daughter and the time (which was most of my high school years) were at your house. I will always be eternally grateful for all the wonderful things you did for me. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love Alice

Linda & Jean: Via Internet, I was able to read of the loss of your Father in the hometown paper. Just wanted to offer my sympathy and prayers to you and the Hardesty family. May God be with you through this difficult time. From a former classmate living in Merritt Island, Florida, but think of the school days at Barboursville quite often.
