Shirley A. Arthur Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1937 - 2008 Shirley A. Arthur, 70, of Milton, WV, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, June 13, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2008, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, with Rev. Caudle Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Shirley was born October 4, 1937, a daughter of the late Charles and Effie Paission, and she was raised by George and Syble Hawkins. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Archie Cleo Arthur; one son, Dwight Arthur (Rose); one daughter, Donna Allen (Mike); seven grandchildren, Chasity Hutchinson (Scott), Joshua Hutchinson (Camille), Tabitha Starkey (Aaron), Shyanne Allen (Jimmy Dalton), Tuesday Allen (Johnathan Thompson), Christopher Abrams and Brandon Arthur; two great-grandchildren, Nathan Starkey and Trenton Dalton. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Online condolences may be sent to www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Archie and Family, I will trully miss ShirleyBob she held a special place in my heart and I really loved her. I will miss teasing her about her hair and giving her a hug and telling I loved her before she left treatment and no matter how bad she felt she always had a smile for me. God Bless Dwight and Donna for caring for their mother she adored you both. I will trully miss her. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
