Belinda, I have never seen this page and ilana actually googled her own name and found your picture in images and that's how I found it. Life has changed so much since you went away and I know in my heart they would be different if you were still here! So many things I wish I could seek your wise guidance on and my goodness how your grandchildren have grown. They are almost as tall as me and you and they are so smart and good people which I'm certain has something to do with the love they got from you. I miss you so much and so do the kids and you will always be loved so dearly by us all.

Dear Belinda, it's been more than 4 years now since you went home to be with our Father. I can't believe how much I still ache for seeing you my sweet little sister. Even though you are younger than me, you taught me so much. You were the kindest and sweetest person in my life. You cared about everyone in your life. I still cry for you. I still talk to you...do you hear me? As you know our precious Mother is with you now. Without you and Mom I feel so alone. You two were the ones I turned to when I needed to talk. Saying how much I miss and love you and Mom doesn't even come close to how much I do. I'm happy that you and Mom are with Our Father and no longer have any pain. When the day comes for me to "go home", I pray that God will have you and Mom be the ones that I see first! Nothing is the same, and nothing will ever be the same without you and Mom. We try to go on, but, life is not as good as it was when you two were here. You both will be missed every single day until we meet again. Love you more than you could ever know.

I was in several Ladies Classes with Belinda when I was visiting from out of state.
Belinda was such a special person who I immediately was able to become friendly with.

Belinda Christine Call, 48, of Barboursville, went home to be with the Lord September 23, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 1:00 pm at the Farmdale Church of Christ of which she was an active member, by Minister Danny Evans. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park. She was born February 21, 1960 in Rantoul, Illinois, a daughter of Bud Thompson of Seaside, Oregon and Roberta Skaggs Thompson of Barboursville. She was a former employee of Insurance Systems of Ona, WV. She is survived by her loving husband, Scott Call; three sons and daughter-in-law, Adam Roberts of Huntington, and his fiancé Lora Chetel, Zachary and Beth Meadows of Culloden, and Dane Meadows of Barboursville; three grandchildren, Haiti, Elijah, and Ilana; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Carolyn Thompson; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Charles Bailey, Patricia and Kenny Rhone, Carla Thompson, and Melissa Bledsoe; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Janice Call; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Carol Ann and Craig Martin; and several nieces and nephews. She had many special friends whom Belinda loved deeply. Pallbearers will be Mike Call, Mark Call, Craig Martin, Charles Bailey, Steve Adkins, and Jay Jones. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington, Box 469, Huntington, Wv 25709 or Farmdale Church of Christ, Barboursville, WV. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville and after 12:00 noon Thursday at the Farmdale Church of Christ.
