 Carolyn Morgan Moton, 60, of Barboursville, WV, passed away after a long illness, Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am Friday, October 10, 2008 at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Barboursville, WV. Visitation is one hour before the service at White Chapel and burial will follow. Rev. Dr. Melissa Pratt will be officiating. Carolyn was born May 15, 1948 in Schuylkill County, PA a daughter of the late Arthur Morgan and Alma Fry. She was preceded in death by husband, Cecil Brandt and her brothers, Donald and Gary Morgan. Carolyn graduated from William Penn High School, Harrisburg, PA in 1966. Carolyn was a beauty salon owner and stylist for over thirty years in Middletown, PA. She opened the Hidden Beauty Shop, Hair-Port, Brandts Hair Studio, and then the Hair Gallery. She used her artistic talents to make people look and feel good. Her life has influenced so many in the beauty industry. Carolyn was a cherished mother and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Christina Brumfield of Barboursville, WV; one sister, Diane Benner of Maryland; two brothers, Marlin Morgan of Delaware and Michael Morgan of Pennsylvania; her three grandchildren, Robert Jr., Luke and Hannah Brumfield, all of West Virginia; and also by her three nephews, Phil Feaser Jr. of Maryland, Tim Morgan of California, and Steve Morgan of Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.

Tina, Tho I had never met your mom, I wish very much I had that opportunity. I see how closely you resemble her.
I feel like you have done her very proud in your life choices. Your friends will be by your side when / if ever you need us. I have never had a sister tho I feel I have one in you. I am here.

I remember all the good times and all the generosity you bestowed on others. As my only sister, you will be loved and kept in my heart til I see you again. You have finally found happiness seated at the feet of Jesus. No more suffering and pain. I will miss you very much.

Dear Tina, we read about your mom's passing in the P&J and just want to let you know how sorry we are for your loss. Your mom was a great friend and was a joy to be around. Carolyn and I would kid about eating ice cream when we were upset or feeling down. And we usually did. So now when I eat ice cream I will think of her. She will be missed. cousin Sandy You are all in my prayers
