To the Patterson-Mills families and Susan's other family and friends; I am very sorry for your loss. I did not have the great good fortune to have encountered Susan, since our days together as Barboursville Pirates, but she was always the sweetest of friends to me and one of my favorite classmates throughout those years. I will always hold her among the fondest of memories in my heart. God bless Susan.

PATRICIA SUSAN PATTERSON MILLS, 54, of Barboursville, W. Va. lost her long battle with multiple sclerosis on November 7, 2008 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2008 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by the Rev. Julia Bolling. She was born on January 29, 1954, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Kao and Johnny Patterson. Susan is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Roger P. Mills; one son, Travis Andrew Mills (Brenda) and one daughter, Tricia Beth Ferguson (Larry); two granddaughters, Bethany Victoria Mills and Carly Elizabeth Ferguson. She is also survived by one brother, Randall Evan Patterson, one aunt, Willa Sue Ray; and was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Wright Patterson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
