I wish to express my sympathy to the family as I remember Elizabeth in my younger years going to church and I believe she was one of the finest christian women that I ever knew. She was a model--so sorry that rearing a family and working that I never knew her personally. She was one of Gods chosen vessels.

Elizabeth Freeman was one of the finest women I ever met as a child growing up! I loved her and the children she had with Willard. We were all just a group of Big Seven Mile kids who played together in those early childhood years after school and at Mount Union Baptist Church on Sundays and at Bible School during the summers. Little did I know how much influence she and the other Sunday School teachers had on those early years. Surely her reward for faithfulness came as St. Peter opened the gates of heaven and invited her in for the reward she so richly deserves. God Bless her and all the family during this great homecoming. My wife and I have just returned from a 10 day trip to the Holy Land. It was persons like Elizabeth that influenced my childhood years to want to see where our Jesus walked and taught. She will be forever remembered in the Grimes family and our heartfelt condolensces go to the family and neighborhood friends where we all grew up. I wish I could be there to see them all. Now go with God and rest in eternal peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you.....

I'm Free Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found that place at the close of the day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; Ah yes, these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much; Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seems all too brief; Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.

Elizabeth was one of the most beautiful people I have ever met in my life. She truly showed everyone the Love of Christ. I will always remember her testimony which led me to accept Christ as my Savior. May the Lord comfort her family and friends during this time. You all are in my prayers.
