Donna  DunkleDonna Dunkle, 57, of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2008 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2008, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Brad Toney of Roach Baptist Church. Burial will be in Swann Cemetery. Donna was born April 3, 1951, in Huntington, WV, and was employed by State Electric. She was the daughter of Carolyn Fullerton and the late Harold Jordan and was also preceded in death by her brother, Rick Jordan. Survivors include her husband, Chelton, one son and his wife, Danny and Kathy Dunkle of Barboursville; one daughter and her husband, Patti and Chris Nichols of Plain City, Ohio; three grandchildren, Katelyn and Nicholas Dunkle and MaKenzie Nichols; two sisters, Tammy Jordan and Sandy Vargo; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff of St. Marys Medical Center and HIMG for their compassionate care, to the employees of State Electric, and to the community for their support. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Donna was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Chelton, Danny, & Patti, I have many fond memories of the times we shared in the "holler" as teens. Your mother was a wonderful woman and will be sorely missed. Donna was such a kind person. She was loved by so many. We all shared many laughs back in the day. Her love of God and family was always apparent.
