Bertha Virginia Vickers, 85, of Lesage, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 21, 2008. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Community Chapel, Lesage, by the Rev. Philip Bowen and Larry Carey. Burial will be in Greenbottom Memorial Park. She was born January 17, 1923, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Charles E. Oldaker and Hildred Carter Oldaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie C. Vickers, two brothers, Corbet D. Oldaker and Ira Edward Oldaker. She is survived by two sisters, Juanita Holbrook of Lesage and Rosa T. Nicholas of Chesapeake, OH; two brothers, Roy W. Oldaker of Columbus and Andrew J. Oldaker of Glenwood; one sister-in-law, Anna Mae Vickers; four brothers-in-law, Ode, Arb, Jack, and Billy Vickers; and many nieces and nephews.
