This email is for my long-time friend Ronnie Wetherholt. Mr. Wetherholt often would stop in my Dad's ESSO gas station back in 1963 and he was always friendly, just like Ronnie. We were an ESSO Station before they became EXXON-Mobil. Ronnie and I went through old Watson School, B'ville Junior and Senior High School together. Our parents often attended school functions together when we were performing or doing something in the name of the school. We were neighborhood friends and shared our lives together regularly. These are tough days when we lose a parent and the sympathies for the family are deeply extended. I still have my Mother alive on Blue Sulphur Road where I grew up. Dad will have been dead 16 years on April 5th coming up. Blessings from all of the Grimes family in the loss of your Dad. God Bless the whole family and we will lift up the Wetherholt family in prayer as we celebrate the heavenly homecoming of Mr. Wetherholt. So long Mr. Wetherholt and go with God....

The Thompson family is thankful for Ray Wetherholt. He was a good friend to our father, Leroy. There was comfort to be had when as a young girl, I could look down toward the church and see Ray mowing the grass at his little house. Mike and I were out driving a week ago. We drove out past the Wetherholt residence on the ridge while I was looking at the area the Thompson's farmed. Ray, you are a great man. Hug dad for me.

My family lived beside of your family on North High Street. In fact Ronnie was my first boyfriend, at the age of 4 or 5. Many years have passed and many miles have been crossed since those days, but I do remember Ray . Our families had some good times together. I am sorry for your loss and pray God will be with you all during this sad time. God bless....
