1930 - 2009
Ella Adkins Bartram, 79, passed from the loving arms of her children and into the waiting arms of her beloved husband of 59 years, Leonard, on April 25th, 2009. She was born on January 16, 1930, to the late Lucian and Emma Adkins. She was the devoted mother of Nova (Dale) Alberts, Joyce Jones, Ray (Dreama) Bartram, Susie (David) Bias and Randall Bartram. Adored grandmother of Ginger (Pat) Blankenship, Amy Reynolds, Kara (Paul) Gibson, Kimberly (Reid) Kerr, Kevin (Tricia) Jones, Sarah Jones, Sheila Bartram, Todd Call, Jeffrey Call, Stephen (Rachel) Bias, Kelly (Robby) Skaggs, and Warren and Philip Bartram. Loved great grandmother of twenty-three, and a great great grandmother of one. Dear Aunt of Danny Adkins and Jones Ramsey, and a wonderful cousin of Barbara Sissybug Shepard. Today, she is celebrating in Heaven with those that went before her. Her parents, sisters and brother, her husband, Leonard Ray Bartram, Grandsons Michael Bartram and Jason Jones, and Great Grandson Cody Skaggs. She was a very special woman who had courage, strength and a generous and loving heart. She will be missed for as long as the grass grows and the water flows, forever and a day. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Bowen Cemetery, by Elder Delmer Adkins. There will be no visitation.
