To The Family of Dorothy: My father is Ed Nickel. He lived at Wyngate, across the hall from Dorothy, until I moved him to Dayton on March 31. He has spoken of her often and thought of her as a good friend. He was much saddened when I told him that Dorothy had past away. I too considered Dorothy a friend. We talked every time I came home to visit Dad. She was a kind and good lady. I had high hopes that she would be able to go home at some point. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Rest in peace dear friend. We were all Vinson grads, you were our neighbor on Michigan St. in the 60's. You planned a baby shower for our first born. I ended up having her early but you had the baby shower anyway without me. Our condolences to Sonia and T.J. and families. You had a wonderful mother!
