Dear Dr. Rob, I just heard today about your sweet wife from Frances Sias, who is my aunt. I am praying for you and for God to give you strength these upcoming days ahead. You have such a wonderful family and am blessed to have them with you closeby. We live in Lebanon, OH, far away from family. Our prayers are with you and keep the faith, even when you don't feel like it. Faith is when you step out of your comfort zone - not when everything is going alright. Take care and e-mail when you can. I like to hear how everything is going. Love in Christ, Debbie Hopkins

Brigette and the rest of the Ballard family, You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. I have nothing but wonderful memories of Debbie. She was such a wonderful mother and she made everyone who came into your house feel at home. Take it one day at a time. God's plan may not always be easy but He will help you through all of this. Take care.

Rob, this evening we were informed by Terri Hannon that Deb had gone to be with our Lord. We are so very sorry that we just learned of this and did not attend visitation and the service. You and Deb have been in our daily prayers. We cannot imagine the grief you are dealing with, but you know that God will give you strength. Deb was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be greatly missed. We also know how much you have given Deb in the way of support and love during her illness. We will continue to pray for you and your family. God Bless You. Sincerely, Tim and Jana

Dear Rob and Family: Prayers have been going out for Debbie and the entire family for quite a long time from down here in Georgia. Prayers have been prayed by people who did not even know her--including my hometown church, Faith Baptist, here in Blairsville, GA. Now that she has gone to be with the Lord, prayers are still going up for you and the family. We grieve with you all and love you too. We had the "privilege" to visit with Debbie a couple times and once, while there, to pitch in and help do a bit of house cleaning and a little yard work with the nice ladies from the church. We were in Huntington visiting my sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Jim Castle! I never heard anything but words of love for Debbie and you, Rob. She was one of Jean's favorite friends! I have been updated on a continuous basis by Jean and feel as though I have been going through your sorrow with you. Again, we love you and hope to stop by and visit with you when we are back in Huntington. Prayers are still coming your way from Georgia!

I love you all so much! Debbie was a wonderful, but most importantly she loved the Lord. That is the only thing that helps me deal with this situation. She is in heaven! I know this with all my heart and I look forward to the day when I can see her again. Gods time is a perfect time. I am very thankful that I knew her and that God allowed her to be in my life.

I had not seen Debbie for many, many years....not since high school days. I find it impossible to picture her without that big old grin she always wore. I pray that her family and friends may find the peace and comfort they need.

The Plan of the Master Weaver Our lives are but fine weavings That God and we prepare, Each life becomes a fabric planned And fashioned in His care. We may not always see just how The weavings intertwine, But we must trust the Master's hand And follow His design, For He can view the pattern Upon the upper side, While we must look from underneath And trust in Him to guidance. Sometimes a strand of sorrow Is added to His plan, And though it's difficult for us, We still must understand That it's He who fills the shuttle, It's He who knows what's best, So we must weave in patience And leave to Him the rest..... Not till the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly Shall God unroll the canvas and explain the reason why-- The dark threads are as needed as the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has plan.

Aunt Myrtle, Renee, Mike, Rodney and Rob and all your families, please know how sad this makes me and how much Steve and I would want to be there. You know my heart is with you all and I love you so much. One thing we all can take comfort in is that we know she is in a better place with a lot of others we know and love. They are having a "big time" catching up. I hope we can get in to see all of you soon and give you a big hug. Blessings and Peace, Your niece/cousin, Donna and Steve Williams Dewey, OK
