1931 - 2009
 Gallie Lee Goodman Sr., 78, of East Lynn, WV, formerly of Streetsboro, OH, passed away Monday, May 4, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, May 8, 2009 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Rev. Ray Adkins. Burial will be in Goodman Cemetery. He was born March 19, 1931 in Logan County, WV, a son of the late Tom and Ida Adkins Goodman. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Hoover and one sister, Martha Napier. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War, was a member of the VFW Post # 9713 in Streetsboro, OH and was a member of Brookside Masonic Lodge in Cleveland, OH. He is survived by his wife, Muriel Mills Goodman; one son and daughter-in-law, Gallie Lee Jr. and Waunita Goodman and one daughter and son-in-law, Georgia Renee and Richard Packwood, all of Streetsboro, OH; five granddaughters, Amanda, Melissa, Mariah, Krystal and Samantha; one grandson, Justin; two great granddaughters, Maddy and Callie; one great grandson, Travis; three brothers, Ezra, Fred and Tommy and two sisters, Julietta and Norma. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Military services will be conducted by Proctorville V.F.W. #6878. uncle gallie, we miss you and love you... uncle ez is there to keep you company now, please be our families guardian angels just as mom and normie said you were on earth. I will be counting on you ! and hopefully the fish will bite!

We are so sad to have read in the Herald Dispatch online tonight, (Friday 5/8/09) that Gallie had passed away. We had not heard about it and I know daddy (Gordon) doesn't know anything about it.
