Mary Elizabeth Brumfield JonesMary Elizabeth Brumfield Jones, 85, of Barboursville, went home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2009 at Lincoln Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 23, 1923, a daughter of the late John and Ella Brumfield from Miller, Ohio. She was a member of Gloryway Baptist Church and truly loved her church family. She was a retired employee of Corbin, LTD. Mary was preceded in death by three husbands, Harry Thomas Holland, Stanley Henderson, and D.A. Jones. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Dorothy A. and David Cardwell of Barboursville, Harry L. and Donna Holland of Wayne, and David T. and Mindy Holland of Huntington. She was the proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter, Carl, Odell and Bobby Brumfield. She is survived by one sister, Eileen and Stanford Fulks and two brothers, Dale and Alberta Brumfield and Lester and Jewell Brumfield. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Salt Rock Senior Citizens Center, Salt Rock, WV, where she had many special friends. The family wishes to extend special gratitude to Montrey, Dorothy, Jay, Natasha and all the staff at Lincoln Nursing and Rehab Center. A special thanks also to Pam Clary and the staff of Hospice of Huntington for their care and support. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, May 16, 2009, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Reverend Johnny Gue. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
