So many memories are connected to Cotton & Shirley. B.Y.F. leaders, Halloween parties, sled riding, Cotton's laughter and quiet smile. His love of the land, his church and his family. His friendship with Lloyd & Marcelle was so appreciated. He's enjoying a great reunion gathering now. Prayers to his family from ours.
Love,
Mike & Karen

I remember so many good times at the church with Cotton. He always had a bright smile on his face. He will be missed by all that knew him. Even though I moved to Savannah, Ga., I still tried to keep up with the friends I had in the Cyrus Creek church community. My prayers are with the family.

The memories flood back-where you saw Cotton, you saw Shirley. What an example of love they were to so many. They have been great friends of the family for many years.
The last time I saw Cotton was the weekend of his birthday-he was dealing with the pain and hardship of growing old.
Now, he is healed and waiting for the day his dear wife walks beside him again.
Longing for the day when we meet again.

He will be missed. He was such a joy to be around. He really added to the VIST Support Group and we had a great time on our trip to Birmingham. Always a smile on his face and joy in his heart.
