Billy James was my world..He was a great guy who would help anyone at anytime. The world will not be the same without him by my side..but I know hes with us all in spirt<3 its just not the same. Dear Bob, Mona and family We are so sorry for your loss. We still cant believe it happened. We went to bed Tues. night Praying that on Wed. morning when we woke up we would find out it was just a bad dream. But unfortunatly it was not. We are so very sorry we could not be there. We were on our way to Flordia on Fri. when we found out that the visitation was that night. Even though we could not be there our Love and Prayers were. We were all talking about how we use to talk to Billy every trick or treat night. He use to come in over at Dads house and stay and talk to us for a while. Billy was such a sweet and polite young man. He is going to be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. We hope and Pray that they get the ones responsible for this terrible terrible thing.We love you all very much and please if we can do anything for any of you all let us know. My heart breaks for everyone who loved Billy.
I had met him on several occassions. The first time was after Alex Dillon had been killed. My son is the same age as Billy and Alex was his best friend..I can't help but imagine how truly gutted your family must feel.

Words cannot explain the hurt and void you are feeling. I know we haven't seen or talked in a longtime but I want you to know I am truly sorry for your loss. Mona I can remember you leading us as girl scouts and even remember Billy running in the big white house on Indian Branch. First of all I just want to start out by saying how very sorry I am. Billy was a very specail person to everyone. I am very happy with the time me and Billy got to spend together because alot of people dont get to see that side of him. He was a very sweet and caring guy. He always made me laugh over the stupidest things. I will miss him along with many others.

I am so sorry about Billy, I cannot imagine the pain you both are going thru right now. I mainly remember Billy as a toddler and how cute he was. I remember babysitting for him one day and he fell asleep on my steps so I sat on the next step for about an hour so I wouldn't wake him up. He had grown into a nice looking young man and no one deserves to die this way. If there is anything I can do for either one of you, let me know. Dear Bob and Mona,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this condolence message. I learned of Billy James' death yesterday morning while reading news on the internet from back home. There are no words that can possibly describe the shock and sadness I am feeling and I cannot even fathom the sorrow that's been placed on you and your family.
I will always remember your son, my friend, the young boy with blonde hair and bright blue eyes, always quick to smile. The same young man that always looked up to his dad and grandpa and had such a huge zest for life. Billy James was taken from us way too soon and there is nothing that will ever replace the void that has been left in our hearts.
During this difficult time I would like to offer a helping hand if you will have it. Eventhough we have not seen much of each other over the past couple of years, I still think of you all as very dear friends. And although I will not be home until a few more weeks I want you to know I'm only a phone call away. Dear Billy James, our hearts are forever broken and out lives changed because we will have to go on without you. You will be Greatly Missed and Mourned more than you will ever know. I am thankful that I know that you are with the Lord, and that knowledge Billy is what will make all of this bearable to all of us you have left behind.
Mona, I just dont even know what to say to you, I know that there is nothing that will make you feel better or make it all go away, but I just want to tell you that I have been thinking about the day that Billy was born, Bob and Kattie were standing there looking at you holding Billy and you have never in your life looked as Beautiful as you did, holding that beautiful little boy, I could see your Love shining Thru you, and I have always thought about that with you and Billy, that you just loved him with your complete heart and soul, and I know that Billy always knew that about you too. I love you Mona and Im praying for all of you. Bob, I just dont even know what to say to you except that I love you and my heart is broken for you. And Kattie, no one ever had a sister that loved them any more that you have always loved Billy. You have always been such a wonderful and loving person Kattie. Billy James Gregory Jordan, 20, of Ona, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2009. He was a member of Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church. He was loved and cherished by his parents, Bobby Mack Jordan and Mona Lisa Cooper Jordan; his sister, Kattie Marie Coleman Walters; brother-in-law, Donnie Ray Walters; brother, Bobby Mack Jordan Jr.; niece Anna Jordan; sister and brother-in-law, Christina Jordan Lewis and Darin Lewis; nieces, Rachel Lewis and Emilline Lewis; grandparents, Billy Mack Jordan and Carol Faye Jordan, James Cooper and Imogene Richardson; great grandmother, Evelyn Snider; great grandfather, Mack Jordan; a very special nephew, Cole Landon Walters, fiance, Angel Nicole Adkins and his "baby girl" Layla. Billy enjoyed riding motorcycles, 4 wheeling, cooking and building cars with his dad. He was a heavy equipment operator with his dad at BMJ & Sons Excavating . He was preceded in death by three uncles, Gregory and Leslie Jordan, Gary Lee Cooper; and one aunt, Renee Cooper Jackson. He had many friends that he loved and will be sadly missed by all. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Paul Meadows. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
