I was a nurse at Chateau Grove and it was a pleasure to take care of Blanche. She was always very pleasant and always had a smile on her face. I am very sorry for your loss.

Joe, My Mother (Vivian Dean) was your Mother's "next door neighbor" at Chateau Grove for a couple of years before my Mother needed to go to Heartland in South Point. Your Mother was always so friendly with me -- and, most importantly, very compassionate regarding my Mother. I will not forget her; and even though she had a great, long life, I know you and your family -- and her friends -- will miss her a lot.
My condolences, Kay Sowards

I just wanted to express my sympathy to the family. My mother and Mrs. Demidenko worked together at Barboursville State Hospital. I remember going to her house when I was little. She was always so nice and kind to me. I hadn't seen her in a long time and my mother passed away in 2005 but I felt the need to express my condolences when I saw the notice in the paper. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

Larry & I want to express our sincerest sympathy to all of you. Blanche was a good friend to Larry's mother, Gracie Vance, and a roommate for several years at Chateau Grove. We enjoyed hearing all the stories that those two could tell. Please know that we do understand what your loss is like and know that God will help you as you go through it.

Dear Joe and Becky,
We are so sorry about Blanche's passing. She was always so good to me growing up - it was like having a bonus grandmother when I came to visit. She will be forever in my memories, and you will continue to be in our prayers during this time.
Love,
