I have new Roger all my life, but for the past four years I have really got to no him better. He was always there if anybody needed a helping hand. He was a hard working father and husband who always love his family and cared dearly about them. He will always be in my heart for ever until I meet him in Heaven one day.

I Remember going to school with Roger from grade school threw high school, I really like him and He was very well like, He had a lot of friends. I am very sorry to hear of his passing.

Dear Harlan and family:
I was so sorry to hear about your brother Roger. I completely missed his notice in the paper. My sister Joan called me and told me. Had I known in time, I would surely have been at the visitation. I just wanted to express my condolences to you and your entire family. God bless you all.

Roger Lee Blake, 51, of Glenwood, WV, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at St. Marys Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2009, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Paul Meadows. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. He was born May 14, 1958, in Huntington, WV, a son of Erma Cooper Blake of Glenwood and the late Russell Blake. Roger was a truck driver for Lusher Trucking and he was a member of Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kimberly Hayes Blake; five daughters and sons-in-law, Maranda and Warren "Flattop" Spry of Prichard, WV, Ashley and Jason Jenkins of Glenwood, WV, Kara, Kaitlyn and Morgan Blake at home; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Mike Wolfe of Roanoke, VA, Linda and Dwight Kirby; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harlin and Darlene Blake, and Marlin and Jeannie Blake all of Glenwood, WV; four grandchildren, Audrey and Jacob Spry, Mason and Emma Jenkins. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
