1926 - 2009
 Emory David Daniel, 82, of Ona, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Milton with Rev. Carl Merritt officiating. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born October 11, 1926 in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of the late Harry and Gladah Lockhart Daniel. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Eva J. Daniel. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II, Berlin Air Lift, Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Hodson and Linda Daniel; two sons, David Daniel and William Daniel; 10 grandchildren, James Hodson Jr., Elizabeth Lintner, David Michael Daniel Jr. Cynthia K. Adams, Courtney Daniel, Ericia Daniel, Kaitlyn Daniel, Laurel Daniel, Brandon Sauls and Johathon Mick and wife Jessica; four great grandchildren, Laurel Kapp, Sydney Hodson,Chloe Hodson and Mirha Micks; one brother, Harry Daniel; one sister, Barbara Tackett. The family would like to thank Hospice of Huntington for their kindness and care. Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2009 at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville or one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
