Roger Lewis Meadows Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1940 - 2009 Roger Lewis Meadows, 69, of Milton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 3, 2009. Services will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the Forest Memorial Park Mausoleum, Milton, WV, by the Rev. Winford Curry. He was born April 30, 1940 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late William O. Meadows and Helen L. Dailey Meadows. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mavis Lorene Meadows and one sister, Betty Perry. He is survived by one son, Anthony P. Davis and his girlfriend, Linda Carpenter; two daughters, Kimberly Mayes and her husband Ron, and Kathy Meadows and her boyfriend Dwayne Walker; one special grandson, Cody A. Meadows; one sister, Carol Lego; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Online condolences may be sent to www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

I was one of Mr. Meadows's nurses at Cabell Huntington Hospital on 2North. He was such a sweet man and so much fun to joke around with. He tried to act tough but that sweet smile always came through. I am so sorry for your loss and my heart and prayers are with you all. God bless you.

Kim and family, I am so sorry to hear about Roger. He was always so kind to me when I worked at the restaurant. And I do have to apologize, I didn't know he had passed away when we were talking Monday morning or I would have surely acknowledged it. If you guys need anything at all please call me.
