 Carol "Redeye" Keesee, 82, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009, at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, by Rev. Ray Vance. Burial will be in Keesee Cemetery. He was born October 1, 1926, in Cabell County, a son of the late Walter and Jencie Adkins Keesee. He retired from Mountaineer Gas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Irene Daniels Keesee; one daughter, Cathy Keesee; one great granddaughter, Megan Lynn Arthur. He is survived by two daughters, Trish Arthur of Kenova, Kimberley and Jon Watts of Lake Placid, FL; three sons, Eugene Keesee of Huntington, Bobby Lee and Charlene Keesee of Floyd, VA, Terry and Robin Keesee of Huntington; one sister, Addie Cooper of KY; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

I was sorry to hear that Carol had passed. I've thought of him many times over the years with fond memories. I wish I had known sooner. He was a great guy.

this is bobby keesee's dughter i thought i would put somthing to tell all of ya'll how great my papa was... i might of only met him a couple times but he was my only grandparent. he was amazing to me. i can only imagine how bad the people that really knew him feel. Papa we all miss and love you <3

I dont know if anyone gets on here anymore but I do all the time. I just wanted to say I miss Mom and Dad so much!! Thanks everyone. Espically Wallace Funeral Home. U guys have done so much for my family words could never express!! Love U Guys!!

Carroll was an intergral part of my younger days; when my Dad would plow, Carroll would be somewhere there. As cousins, they could relate in the old ways that now we can't; God bless him and the beautiful children God gave him; the wisdom continues on.
