 Philip Rogers Perry, 77, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the Barboursville First United Methodist Church by the Rev. Judy Fisher. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born August 30, 1931 in Barboursville, WV, a son of the late Jack Ross Perry and Edna Clay Perry. He was a member of Barboursville First United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir and was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Barboursville Sportsman Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Jordan Perry. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Joe McConda of Russell, KY; one son, Greg Perry of Barboursville; three grandchildren, John Isaac McConda and his wife Laura, David Benjamin McConda and Staci Lynn Perry; two great granddaughters, Autumn Constance McConda and Anora June McConda; two great grandsons, Elijah David McConda and Tanner Joseph Perry; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald L. and Eleanor Perry, Franklin D. and Doyla Perry, and Wayne Buck and Joann Perry; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Eileen Ray, Judy and Badge Mora, Sharon and Bill Reinhart, Kaye and Tom Trammell, and Dixie and David Nash; a sister-in-law, Suzie Jordan and brother-in-law, Paul L. Jordan Jr. and his wife Joyce; and many very special nieces and nephews. In addition to his family, Phil was loved by many special friends. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville and after 12:00 noon Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Barboursville First United Methodist Church or Hospice of Huntington. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
