Tootsie was my very first Sunday School teacher and taught me so much about the Lord and showed me his wonderous love. I will always hold her memory close to my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family. I love you all and may God comfort you during this time...Jo

Kathy, my prayers are with you during the loss of your Mother. Chuck and Michelle loved you when you worked with Debbie at Greenbottom.

AS a small boy growing up with all of the Big Seven Miler kids, Toots Venoy was one of those many people who influenced my early childhood years as she was always present in Mt. Union Baptist Church along with her family. I remember those days and years as though it was only yesterday. Our little church was small but faithful to God and service. I often tell people about where I started out and the many names of the attendees of that church flash through my mind. I don't have to wonder where they are as many have gone home to be with Jesus. The kids that they taught are now moving into senior years and we too will join them in the future. To all those that weep with sorrow in the passing of Toots Venoy, remember that she is just asleep and waiting on the other side for us to join her. Make sure your life is right for that wonderful meeting that we will all have at the day of our resurrection! Time is short and we must all be on a rampage for Jesus. God Bless all the family as you bury your loved one. I wish I could be there to see all those that will come to the wake and hug those that are hurting. May God welcome her into his eternal peace. She has earned it.

We all want to express our deepest sympathy to the whole family. We know the loss of a parent or grandparent is very difficult, but we also know that they are in a far better place than we are at this time. One day we will all be with our loved ones who have gone "Home." Know that we are thinking about you and praying for comfort and healing at the loss of "Toots." Love and prayers, Irene Layne and family
