Ella Pearl CabellElla Pearl Cabell, 78, of Lesage, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 24, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Pastor Doug Spurlock, Pastor Rick Glass and Rev. Ron Page. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born May 12, 1931 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Walter Oscar and Alice Jane Nance Wintz. She was a member of Blue Sulphur United Brethren Independent Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Bill Cabell, two sisters, Betty Blake and JoAnn Dempsey and a special cousin who was like a mother to her, Edna Vititoe She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Becky Cabell of Barboursville and Mark Cabell of Lesage; two sisters, Shirley Bird and Patty Cremeans, both of Huntington, WV; six brothers, Carl Wintz of Houston, Texas, Bob Wintz, Jack Wintz, Jim Wintz, and Junior Wintz all of Lesage, WV and Earl Wintz of Milton, WV; three grandchildren. Jennifer Cabell and Stephanie Pauley, both of Huntington, WV, and David Michael Cabell and his wife Tracy of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, eight great grandchildren. a special niece, Cheryl, and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons International. Friends may call after 12:00 noon Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. The family would like to thank the Nursing Staff at Cabell Huntington Hospital and Wallace Funeral Home for their special care and kindness shown.
