 Ella Pearl Cabell, 78, of Lesage, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 24, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Pastor Doug Spurlock, Pastor Rick Glass and Rev. Ron Page. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born May 12, 1931 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Walter Oscar and Alice Jane Nance Wintz. She was a member of Blue Sulphur United Brethren Independent Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Bill Cabell, two sisters, Betty Blake and JoAnn Dempsey and a special cousin who was like a mother to her, Edna Vititoe She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Becky Cabell of Barboursville and Mark Cabell of Lesage; two sisters, Shirley Bird and Patty Cremeans, both of Huntington, WV; six brothers, Carl Wintz of Houston, Texas, Bob Wintz, Jack Wintz, Jim Wintz, and Junior Wintz all of Lesage, WV and Earl Wintz of Milton, WV; three grandchildren. Jennifer Cabell and Stephanie Pauley, both of Huntington, WV, and David Michael Cabell and his wife Tracy of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, eight great grandchildren. a special niece, Cheryl, and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons International. Friends may call after 12:00 noon Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
