My condolences to the entire Stratton families. Jeff and I went to Milton High School together and were in the same homeroom. He was a nice boy but what I remember the most was that Jeff was funny. He was always cracking jokes and cutting up and he left you feeing good about life. My memories of Jeff are all good and no matter how old we get we always remember the kids from school. My thoughts and prayers are with Jeff's parents, his wife and his children. May God give you the strength and endurance to get you through these trying times.

Paige,Dennis,Mackenzie,Lola May,Loren, and Julie. I am so sorry for your loss. My appologies for not attending the service (flu bug going thru the Mohr house). Jeff was a very good man that will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Lola May and Loren, grandma Mohr stated with the passing of my dad "its just not natural to lose a child".I cant even imagine how you are feeling at this time. We as people dont want to lose anyone we love and are close to. I suppose though it is somewhat expected to lose a spouse,a sibling or our parents. But not till we are old with a house full of grand kids and great grand kids.Even then when you think your prepared its not an easy thing. I know that The premature loss of your son, your husband/partner,your dad, your brother will leave a void that can only be filled by the holy spirit of god. Our life on this earth is but a vapor, heaven is eternal. So remember(as im sure you've been told many times already) our loss is heavens gain. Our plans and timing as people are not usually gods plan and if we are honest we don't agree with gods plan especially when he takes a loved one home. Just be comforted though, knowing that he is Home... Home with his grandma, grandpa and all those saints who have gone on before him, but most of all be comforted to know that he is right now today walking with his lord and savior Jesus Christ! Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to all of you... Doug and Beverly Mohr

I've known Jeff since the 1980's and had the pleasure of working with him at several different companies. We became close friends and stayed in touch, even after I moved to San Diego in 1994. Hearing that he has passed has left a hole in my heart. Jeff was one of the truly 'good guys' in the world. I remember him as a decent, honest, hardworking and moral man who always wanted the best for his family. The world is a lesser place without him, and I am a better man for having known him. Page: Martina and I are thinking of you and the children during this most difficult of times. If there is anything we can do for you or your family, please do not hesitate to contact us. My cell number is 760 445-8272.

Paige, We are praying for you and the children. I am still shocked at this news. After learning of Jeff's passing I heard the old hymn "There is coming a day, when no heartache will come..." playing on the radio. I remember Jeff recounting a time in church when he was overwhelmed with joy when singing that song. I know this is a difficult time, but I pray that the resurrection of Jesus will be very real to you at this time. I end with the chorus and last verse of the hymn Jeff was overjoyed with. He has now experienced it. "What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see, And I look upon His face, The One who saved me by His grace; When He takes me by the hand And leads me through the Promised Land, What a day, glorious day that will be. There'll be no sorrow there, no more burdens to bear, No more sickness, no pain, no more parting over there; And forever I will be with the One who died for me, What a day, glorious day that will be."

Lola Mae there may be no words I could express here for you and your family at this time as your walking through what seems like just a dream, As this unfolds I cannot help but remember the compassion from your loving heart to our family almost a year ago. God promises anything given will be given back a hundred fold. My heart gives back to you a hundred fold the compassion and blessing brought to myself and our family I love you, and pray for the "peace that passeth no understanding" for you and your family. Jeff is at peace with God, and has much greater tasks in heaven than on earth at this time. For us this peace will come in moments, then minutes, then progress with time. Myself and my family's love is with you. May God comfort you and your family with Angel's Wings keeping your Heart's Warm with the Love and Smiles I remember as Jeff rode withn Uncle Toto,as they mowed the lawn on the new red riding lawnmower. And don't forget Aunt Mary's German Chocholate cake, and the many more wonderfull memories. With Heartfelt Love at Your Time of Loss, Teresa Mohr McDonie
