Geneva Kay Patrick Hargis, 56, of Huntington, left this life Thursday, November 12, 2009, at St. Marys Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, November 14, 2009, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with the Rev. Jessie Lacy officiating. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock. She was born February 1, 1953, a daughter of the late Silas Patrick and Alva Patrick. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents. She is survived by Thomas Orie Brooks whom she considered her daddy; one daughter, Kimberly Ann Hensley and her husband, Anthony, of Barboursville, WV; one son, Bruce Allen Rawn of Kentucky; two grandsons, Xavier and Zander Hensley; two sisters, Barbara Wheeler and Patricia Dotson; three brothers, William "Bill" Patrick and Roy Brooks, all of Huntington, WV, and Thomas Ray Brooks of South Point, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Randy Allen Adkins.
