Dear John Scott & Family, I am sorry that you are having to let your precious mother go. Regardless of the length of years, life's days never seem long enough when you love someone. Your mother's lovely picture brought back many happy memories of life on 6th Ave(Montg.)among the best neighbors & friends we, and our parents (Jim & Lily),could have ever had! The long-remembered music of the Rhythmaires is a treasure of the heart for always--where Dad still plays the piano as spiritedly as ever, only more joyfully now. Along with him is that terrific drummer, your dad and all of those other wonderful musicians of swing and jazz. What a delightful image & sound my heart's memory experiences at the very thought! And then there is your mother and her cheerful, outgoing personality--always a welcome guest in our home or a short exchange on the street. Together, your parents were a wonderful blessing in our young lives, expecially cherished friends of "Dad & Mom". May your grief be eased in the gratitude that you surely have in knowing that your mother is "at home with her Lord". May the healing Peace and Presence of our Lord accompany you and your families all along the Way. We will be praying. in the Love of Christ JESUS, agnes ann & family

I didn't know that your mom was an educator - no doubt she had some influence on your career choice. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the days ahead.

John and Anne, It seems like only yesterday that we piled into your blue Ford (think it was a Ford) and headed off to Riverside with your mother at the wheel. She was a wonderful person, a great mom and will be missed by all her friends. May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Brian

Anne and John, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember your mom and dad as wonderful neighbors to a young married couple with a new baby. I also remember how kind your mother was to my son, Matt. One time he had a leaf project for school and she walked him around the back of our houses in Garden Farms, finding him leaves and telling what they were. You and your family are in our prayers. Steve & Rosemary Parkins
