 Mary Lou Harvey Johnson, 56, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by the Rev.Carlos Gibson. Burial will be in Harvey Family Cemetery, Branchland, WV. She was born March 3, 1953 in Cabell County, a daughter of Margie Rakes Thompson and the late Farnia Harvey. She was preceded in death by one brother, Luther Thompson. She is survived by one daughter, Melissa Dawn Smith and her friend Daniel Morrison of Huntington; her stepmother, Rachel Harvey of West Hamlin, WV; her stepfather, John Thompson of Kentucky; four brothers,Jake Harvey and his wife Matilda of Milton, Samuel Harvey and his wife Inga of Huntington, Thomas Harvey and his wife Patty of Branchland, and Harold Harvey and his wife Sherry of Branchland; six sisters, Brenda Hatfield and her husband Robert of Wayne, Patricia McDildan of Barboursville, Ruby Porter and her husband William of Charleston,WV, Joan Hoyle and her husband David of North Carolina, Betty Sheppard and her husband Rocky of Huntington, and Fernia Arthur of Huntington; twenty-eight nieces and nephews; twenty great nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
