1928 - 2010
 The sun was shining and the birds were singing when God called her home. Lois Arlene Bledsoe, 81, of Salt Rock, passed away April 10, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Richard Black. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery. She was born September 1, 1928, in Lincoln County, WV, a daughter of the late Chancey and Susie Galloway Dillon. She was a member of the Merritts Creek Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence G. Bledsoe. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Berkley Neff of Hampton, GA; one son, Edward Bledsoe of Salt Rock and his companion Marsha Brumfield; two grandchildren, Richard and Kelly Bragg and Jessica Bledsoe; three great grandchildren, Nicholas and Benjamin Pinterich, and one on the way, Logan Thomas Bragg. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

I'M SO SORRY TO HEAR THIS, AS UNCLE CLARENCE AND AUNT LOIS WERE MY VERY FAVORITE OF ALL MY DADS SISTERS AS YOUR MY DADS ALSO. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND ALWAYS KNOW THAT YOU ARE THOUGHT OF OFTEN.OUR PARENTS ARE WITH OUR LORD AND WALKING THE OLD FARM STEAD NOE THAT THEY LOVED SO MUCH.I WOULD LOVE MORE THAN ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD TO BE ABLE TO LIVE AND WALK THE OLD STRAIGHT FORK WHERE MOM,DAD AND i ONCE LIVED IN THAT LITTLE HOLLOW ACROSS FROM WHERE UNCLE SID DILLON ONCE LIVED. Sorry for your family's loss. I'm not sure if we were related or not. My Grandfather was Charles Wilson Bledsoe, his brother was Carl Bledsoe. They lived in the Martha, Barboursville area.
