In memory of our dear friend, Scottie. God looked around His garden and He found an empty place. And then He looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful because he always takes the best. God knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyes and whispered "Scottie, Peace Be Thine". It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you the morning that God called you Home. You left with us great memories, a cherished wonderful wife, and a great family all of whom we love and are honored to call our friends. With Love and Deepest Sympathy, Tom and Liz Shaffer

Only God knows why he had to take you from us so soon. But you sure will be sadly missed. You were and are the best brother & brother-in-law anyone could ever have. You have been there for me to help me with your brother when no one else would and that made you the very special person you are. Rest in peace dear brother till we meet again.

A SPECIAL friend has been taken from us and I do not have the words to express the loss that I feel. I did not get to spend as much time with Scottie as did some others but the times together were always a pleasure and leave a treasure of fond memories. To Lula "Perk" and the entire family I want to tell you that You Are In My Thoughts, My Heart, My Prayers and I send my sincere sympathy. I regret that I cannot be there with you at this sad time but this is sent to you in Love, Sympathy and Friendship. Frank Shaffer
