Robert Steven Chapman, 61, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 pm Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursvill, by Pastor Dickie Jobe officiating. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by American Legion Post 139. He was born March 4,1949 in Huntington. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dixie Hysell. He is survived by two daughters, Chrystal Burd and Belinda Chapman; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; stepfather, Tommy Hysell, one brother and sister-in-law, Haskell and Kathy Hysell; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janie and Gary Allen and Debbie and Dale Vos and a host of nieces and nephews, and a very special niece and nephew, Reganne and Cody Allen. I want to express my sympathy for your loss. No one know how you feel but God and he will take care of you and get you through this. I will pray for you to have peace of mind and remember only the good memories and how you were so wonderful and have no regrets since you were your brothers rock of gibralter.
