1931 - 2010
 Rev. Cash Raymond Stowers, 79, of Salt Rock, WV, went home to the Lord on Monday, July 5, 2010. He was the son of the late Bessie Plumley and Jessie Stowers. He was a member of Friendly United Baptist Church and was an army veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Joe Stowers, two sisters, Roxie Yeager and Helena Adkins, and one great grandson, Timothy Heckman. He is survived by his wife, Marcella Bailey Stowers; two sisters, Virginia Stowers and Elba Adkins; one son, Rick Stowers and fiancé Dina Clark of Indianapolis, IN; one daughter, Joyce Adkins and husband Duane of Salt Rock, WV; seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with the Rev. Dave Cardwell, Rev. Carlos Gibson and Rev. Johnny Gue officiating. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Childers and Robbie Adkins. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville and after 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. I was so sorry to hear of Cash's passing. He was a great man and a wonderful grandfather to my cousins. I will always remember fondly coming out there to play when we were little. You are in my prayers.
