Robert Burdette Legg Sr.Robert Burdette Legg Sr., 72, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2010, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. He was born August 26, 1937, in Huntington, a son of Arbutus (Iris) Dunford Legg of Huntington, and the late Jack Burdette Legg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Campbell Legg. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Paulette Gue Melvin of Ashland, KY, and Carol Ann Holland of Crown City, OH; two daughters, Christy Spencer of Ashland, KY, and her children, Jennifer Spencer and Brittany Spencer Owens and their children, Rylee Spencer and Chloe Owens; Tammy Rigney of Anna, OH, and her children, Don and Tonya; four sons and daughters-in-law, Darrell and Pam Legg of Proctorville, OH and their children, Jessica and Robbie Sias and Joshua Legg, Bobby and Sheri Legg of Huntington, and their children, Jonathan and Bekah Legg, Mike and Ivy Legg of Huntington, and their children, Ashlei Steinbrecher and her daughter, Jordan, Bryce and Candace Legg and Cory Legg, and John and Kim Legg of Huntington, and their children, Garrett, Mariah, Ryan and Makayla Legg; several cousins and many close friends that were like family. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace

to all the Legg Family, So Sad to Hear of the Loss of your Dad, he was loved by everyone that knew him. I was with great sorrow that I learned of the passing of Bobby. He was a one of the most kind, caring and loving people I have ever known. Due to work obligations I will not be able to attend the viewing of services. Please accept the deep condolances from me and my family. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Teresa Ball (cousin) Daughter of Pearl Dunford Ray who was a sister of Iris Dunford Legg.

My Dad was the best Dad any girl could ever ask for.He cared what happened to me and made sure I never went without anything.He gave me a good life.I will miss him forever.I know he looks after me still, from heaven. God now has my Daddy and one day I will see him again.
