Stephen Merle DePriestStephen Merle DePriest, 59, of Ona, WV, passed away Monday, August 30, 2010 in Columbus, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2010, at New Life Church by Dr. Darrell Huffman. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born October 12, 1950, in Ironton, OH, a son of the late Elza and Reba M. Triplett DePriest. He is survived by his wife, Crystal Holley DePriest; one daughter, Stacy Lynn Frederick, of Waverly, OH; one son, William Scott DePriest, of Proctorville, OH; step-daughter, Catrina Collins of Ona, WV; step-son, Curtis Collins of Ona, WV; two sisters, Sue Deeds of Westerville, OH and Janice Burchett of Rush, KY; two brothers, Thomas DePriest of Oil City, PA, and William DePriest of Ashland, KY and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, and after 12:00 noon Friday at the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to The James Cancer Center, Ohio State University, 300 West 10th Ave., Columbus, OH 43210.

Crystal, Catrina & Curtis: I am thinking of you, praying for you & will continue to hold you up in prayer. I believe with all my heart that this Warrior for the Lord,saw our Father and went home. If I can do anything for you, please let me know. Crystal, I truly understand. My dad died went home to be with the Lord in the month of March & then six months later my husband died. God is faithful and He will help you.

Sorry for your lost. He has left alot of great memories to our Family. He was always smiling and always helping others. He sure loved the lord and was a wonderful witness to others.
