Dad and Fred were good friends. Fred would always tease me when Dad and I would go into the Post Office. Fred was a good man. I will miss you Buddy.

I just learned of Fred's passing and am deeply saddened. Talked with him on Saturday as he delivered the mail. He was a congenial person with always a kind remark. May God bless, comfort, and always keep you in His care - especially as you go through this difficult time.

My heart is breaking for all of Fred's family. Fred was loved by our family and we will miss him. I just heard about Fred's passing via a phone call from my brother, Steve. My father, David, passed away in February 1998. He adored Fred and shared many stories that he and Fred shared together at the Ona Post Office. I think of all of you from time to time and our old school days at Salt Rock. Deepest Sympathy to all. Kathy & Gary Bird and the rest of our family.

Fred will be greatly missed by all of our family. He was a loving and caring nephew who would always make any get-together enjoyable. There will be nothing but good memories and respect for the dedication and caring for Bernie before she passed away. I am sorry I could not be there with the family.

It is sad to see another family member taken from this Earth. I can remember seeing Fred all over Salt Rock growing up and at the family reunions. I wish I could be there.
