Dear Jean and family:
I am so sorry to learn of Jerry's passing. While we were not able to keep in touch outside of our yearly class reunion, he was frequently in our thoughts. I think that we were distantly related through our great grandfathers. I believe our great grandfathers were brothers.
Please accept my condolences.
Sincerely,
Fred Bernard Blake

I always adored Jerry. My dad, Dalton Taylor, was a builder in Hurricane for many, many years. Jerry was his paint dealer. He was just the greatest guy. Always had a smile on his face. He would always show up around Christmas time with something wonderful for our big family. I remember one year it was a basket of Florida oranges. He was always so engaging to talk to and always loved to laugh. The last time I saw him...a couple of years ago...at Lowe's, he was exactly the same...I loved talking to him. I know he will be sorely missed. He was a bright light in this world. I will always have wonderful memories of him.
