 Charles Richard Scott, 60, of Milton passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 at St. Marys Medical Center. He was born January 5, 1950, in Milton, a son of the late Clyde and Anna Sadler Scott. He is also preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Scott. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Roberts Scott; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Mary Scott; one daughter and son-in-law, Shala and Danny Caldwell; seven grandchildren, Christopher Scott, Peyton Simpson, Christopher Perdue, Catherine Caldwell, Dalton Caldwell, Colton Caldwell, Justin Scott and one on the way. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Ronald McDonald House. A memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Glen Robinson officiating. Friends may visit from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace

How saddened I was to hear of Charlies death. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He was an old friend of mine, from way back, and I still have a picture of him that was taken at my mothers house in Hurricane.

Kathy, when you called me last night with this news, I was totally shocked. I send to you and the family my deepest condolences, I love you and if you ever need someone to talk to, call me PLEASE! Charlie, you will be missed so much, I smile at the last conversation we had about my son, etc. you were such a good friend, I'm so sad yet I know you're in a much better place. You are one of God's angels now and with my brother David. One day Kathy and all of us will see you again. Until then, rest in peace my friend.
