Tom Spoor, 57, of Barboursville, WV, died on Tuesday, November, 2, 2010, at Midland Meadows Senior Living Home. He was born October 24, 1953 in Mineola, NY. He is the son of Grace W. Spoor and the late Stanley Spoor. A funeral Mass will be held at l0:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He was retired from Alcon Laboratories, Inc. He is survived by his mother Grace Spoor; along with sisters Kathy Winn, Jean Spoor, Robin (Chris) Bunn, Sally Spoor, and Kerry (Michael) Spurlock; and his brother John (Karen) Spoor; in addition to many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his beloved dog Max . Special thanks to brother-in-law, Michael Spurlock, nephew, Nick Albert, and the wonderful staff at Midland Meadows. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Humane Society of the United States or Little Victories Animal Rescue of Ona, WV. I want to let all of Tom's family know my heart and prayers are with you all. Tom was my special friend. He cared and talked about him family. My heart is very sad too. I enjoyed working with him and visiting him at Midland Meadows, I will keep you all in my prayers duning this time.
