 Lisa Sue Skaggs, 42, of Barboursville, WV., passed away November 2, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 6, 2010 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Pete Davidson. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born October 21, 1968 in Ohio, a daughter of the late Charles and Sandra Searles. She was a employee of the Huntington City Mission. She is survived by her husband, Mark A. Skaggs; one daughter and son-in-law Heather and Justin Chapman of Ona, WV; one son, Dakota Skaggs of Barboursville; one sister, Tammy Searles and one brother, Charlie Searles, both of Rutland, OH; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins from Ohio and several special friends from the Huntington City Mission. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Lisa was a wonderful women and a great person. She will be missed greatly. I've known her for a few years and she has always been kind to me and I will never forget that. And she was a best friend to my best friend and was there for her and I thank her for that..

I did not know Lisa but have heard what a wonderful person she was from Pastor Pete who goes to our church. My heart goes out to those of you left behind and I continue in prayer for God to give you strength in the days ahead until you meet again in heaven.

I didn't know Lisa but I know her sweet and precious son, Dakota, a wonderful young man. My heart breaks for him. God Bless the hearts of all of her family members in this time of tragedy.
