Butch: I just learned of Gloria's death when a friend of Carol's sent the obituary to her. Harry and I wanted you to know how sorry we were to hear Gloria had died. He and I have not been back to Huntington since Carol and I got Mother's house sold. Carol moved to Romney six months later and only hears home town news from her friend, Debbie Campbell, whom you and Gloria met when Mother died. Both of you were so kind to come when Mother and Daddy died, and it was always so good to catch up with you guys. We always hoped you would make it down our way for a Wake Forest away football game. The offer is still open if you find yourself at loose ends and long for a little bit warmer climate. We are still in the same house we bought when we moved back to South Carolina from Saudi Arabia. We would love to see you again but don't have any plans to come back your way unless there is some kind of family reunion. Harry and I often talk about the fact that we are in touch with one side of his family and not really in touch with either side of my family. You and Patty are the only ones from Daddy's side (don't know where Timmy is now and don't know if I want to) I have lots of cousins on Mother's side whom I only saw at funerals. I would love to see some of them again also. I don't know if you and Patty or your mom know where they are or not. My cousin Kay has moved and left no address and changed her e-mail carrier. Lena Ruth promised to send her e-mail address, so I don't know how to find her either. Would love to hear from you folks and see you sometime. Give our love to Patty and your mom.
