I did not learn of Bob's passing until Thanksgiving Day. I have been an attorney in the county for a long time. I had many laughs and good times with Bob in his bailiff days. He sure seemed to look forward to retirement, and I trust that he enjoyed that time. I can only extend my best wishes to the family for a speedy recovery. I am glad I had the chance to know him.

To the family of Robert Craft;I recall first working as a paramedic with the Sheriff"s department in 1974 and Bob was always wanting to help me learn about the job, I then worked as a deputy with him for many years and he was a true gentleman in any job he did, in the courts ,jail, or the road, I'm so sorry I could not make it to the funeral home or the funeral ,I'm now driving for FedEx and was unable to make it, although I will always remember him, and those funny stories he would tell. The world would be a much better place,if all were like Mr. Craft.

I met Mr. Craft in 1970 when I was assigned to the Huntington Detachment and he worked the late shift as a radio operator at our office. I know he will be missed. Mr. Craft was a friend to all.

I just want to express our condolences for your family. You have been a great help by being in the room with Harry. I'm sure he will miss your family very much. It sounds like Mr. Craft was ready to meet the Lord in heaven. That is a relief in its self. You know he will be without pain and suffering now. You will have days feeling lost without him. But knowing that God is with you all the way is a great feeling.
Our love and prayers are with you and your family. If you need any help with anything, please feel free to give us a call, or write my email.
