MIllington Adkins Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1938 - 2010 Millington "Dumpy" Adkins, Jr., 72, of East Lynn, WV, passed away November 23, 2010 at home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Minister Emual Adkins. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. He was born October 12, 1938, in Cabell County, WV, a son of Nora Mae Ramey Adkins of Huntington and the late Millington Adkins Sr. In addition to his dad he was preceded in death by his wife, Maedell Adkins; two sons, Gary Adkins and Mark Adkins; one brother, Franklin Adkins. He is survived by his two sons and daughter, Michael Adkins and his wife Carol of Scott Depot, WV, Millington Adkins III and Misty Adkins of East Lynn, and Tena Gue and her husband, Timmy of Branchland; a daughter-in-law, Vicki Adkins of Metamore, MI; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; one brother, Oscar Lee Adkins of MI; two sisters, Betty Paquette of Gladwyn, MI and Jane Warf of Huntington. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and his domino buddies. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
