 Leta Lucille Jarrell, 86, of Lesage, WV, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 28, 2010 the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Brady Lipscomb. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. She was born April 11, 1924 in Boone County, WV, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Vera Lewis Carson. She was a retired employee of Kerr Glass and attended Highlawn Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Nugen and her husband, Bill B. Jarrell. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and James Duncan of Apple Grove, WV; one son and daughter-in -law, William David and Peggy Jarrell of Huntington; son-in-law, John Nugen; eleven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 12:00 noon Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. The family would like to especially thank Lisa Broce, her daughter, Megan, and the staff of Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for their special care of Leta during her last days. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Rd., Huntington, WV 25702.
