Ottie Adkins Jr. (Tunney) Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1928 - 2011 Ottie Adkins Jr. (Tunney) 84, of Huntington, WV, husband of Glenna Adkins, passed away January 9, 2011. He was born January 30, 1928, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Ottie Sharpe Adkins Sr. and Rosie Myrtle Adkins. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon Adkins and Tilman Adkins; two sisters, Phyllis Adkins and Lois Ferguson; and one son, Danny Adkins. He was a retired Stationary Engineer at C&O Railroad. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Roush and Hilda Ferguson; one son, Eddy Adkins; three granddaughters, Chrissy Ferguson of Houston, TX, Kathy Ferguson and Amy Francis, both of Huntington, WV; one great-grandson, Isaac Williams; and one great-granddaughter, Tori Ferrell. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Friends may visit 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace
