Lenora Mae Gothard LinvilleLenora Mae Gothard Linville "Mamoo", of Barboursville, went to meet her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011. She was born Aug. 24, 1922, to the late Eura and Pearl Gothard. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 15, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Baptist Church with Pastor Ryan Massie officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John Linville and her son David E. Linville. She was also preceded in death by her twin sister and brother in-law, Leona Jane and Lester Babe Stewart, brothers, Lyle C. Gothard and Lewis F. Gothard, sister-in-law, Louise Linville Craddock, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Wilson and Kathryn Linville. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Dennis Herrenkohl and her daughter-in-law, Sharon Linville all of Barboursville. "Mamoo" was a loving grandmother of six and great-grandmother of five: Stan and Amy M. Herrenkohl and their children, Brock, Hunter and Grant of Barboursville, Herb and Suzanne Linville Talkington and their children, Jake, Elizabeth, and Katie of Greensboro, NC, Matt and Sandra Herrenkohl Carpenter and their children, Cross, Cais, and Emerson of Wake Forest, NC, Scott Linville and his children, Mykenzie and Austin, Pat and Amanda Linville Hansen and their children, John David and Victoria, all of Barboursville, and LCDR Shad and Amy D. Herrenkohl and their children, Walker and Emma of Newport, RI. She is also survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Frank and Elene G. Spurlock, one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Gothard of Barboursville and many nieces and nephews to whom she was affectionately known as Aunt Norie. She was an active member of Elmwood Baptist Church, working with the youth for many years. Lenora retired from Evans Grocery Company in 1970, so she could be with her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elmwood Baptist Church, 3045 Martha Road, Barboursville, WV 25504. Viewing will be on Friday, January 14, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Aunt Norie, you never really knew just how much you were loved. You were a wonderful aunt, mother, sister, sister-in-law,and grandmother. You have left an empty place in our family here on earth but have filled the void of your place with our Lord. Look for me, I'll see you again someday.
