It is with great sadness as I learn to look up old friends and classmates that I found this unsettling information. I was best buddies with Gary in grade school and as always our lives separated. It seems like he did well and had a good thing going. So sorry I could not reconnect with him. But I'm sure I will see him in heaven.

Goldie, David, Paula and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Gary's always smiling face and energy! I remember first moving to Malcolm Springs and you guys being the first people we met. David, I especially remember us 'much older' kids wishing Gary and Ken would just leave us alone! LOL! I know you will miss your little brother like I miss mine. My prayers for your family and hope that you never forget Gary's obvious ability to make those around him smile!

To Goldie, David, Paula and Joseph and Gary's numerous lifetime friends, I wish you my deepest condolences. My history with Gary goes back to first grade thru college. We participated in Milton's Arts and Crafts many years ago, attended the same church through childhood and worked together at Lazarus. I reconnected in the fall of 2010 with Gary through facebook and was not surprised when I learned he had his own company. He will be putting his artistic touch in heaven. Rest in peace Gary.

To Gary's Family and Loved Ones: I can't express how much I loved Gary and how he touched my life. I worked with Gary on the World Gym events for over 15 years and have so many great stories and memories. I just learned of this news and am really in shock right now. I want to say that Gary touched my life in such a beautiful way. He was a true friend and the most genuine, beautiful soul on this planet. I would have married him in a second. (and that is HUGE.......but you don't know me). I WILL NEVER FORGET GARY'S SPIRIT AND HIS LOVE OF LIFE. HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED!!! My condolences and heartfelt sympathy to everyone left behind. HEAVEN is having a HUGE party right now!! We're missing out forsure!!!

My boss at EventCo Productions died last Friday. Gary Bias started me in my current career. He took me from being a disillusioned college-grad-slouch roady to being an Event Producer. His creativity is unmatched, and he taught me the meaning of "pop." I will never forget the opportunities, challenges and thrills he put before me. He will be missed by many more than I.

My heart goes out to Gary's mother Goldie, brother David and sister Paula and their families and Joseph Stachak and his friend Becci Thacker and all others who loved him. I will keep you all in my prayers. I'm thankful that Gary and I regained our friendship via Facebook in fall of 2010. I'm sorry that we didn't have the time needed to catch up with each others lives. I'm also thankful that I have great memories from church choir at Bethesda, high school band, working together at Fox Fire and carpooling to Marshall University marching band practice. I can't forget those times that a group of us from church would go to a restaurant and talk over an order of pop and fries. Rest in peace Gary.

Gary was in many of my classes throughout elementary and jr. high school, and we lived in the same neighborhood for all those years, so we often passed each other on bike rides and walks and ended up playing together with other friends. I would like to express my sincere condolences to his family and close friends who are now missing him deeply. You are in my prayers. In Christian love, Rosanne Harter Haaland

To Gary's Family: I met Gary when he hired me on as a model for an event to promote his company at a trade show. I wore one of his costumes that got a lot of attention from those who saw it; many photographs. Gary was a tremendous person. In fact, after the event, we had dinner together, and his energy was radiating. He was a man who had a high amount of energy for everything he did; in regards to conversations, interactions, or play ol' business. I couldn't not take the opportunity to jot a quick note to his family and let you know the kind impact he imprinted on me. Since living in Vegas almost two years ago, I've moved on to Los Angeles, following my passion as an actor. I like to think that where I am at is a huge contribution to all those great people, like Gary, I met along the way. Wishing you the best at this time. Cody Deal

Dear Paula, I am so sorry to hear of your brother's death. I lost a brother a few years ago, to hepatitis, and there is not a week that goes by that I don't miss him. I'll be thinking of you and your family. Jeannie
