When I think of Edith, I smile, what a wonderful person! She was so quick to respond with her funny comments, I loved that about her. I am so happy that I was able to visit with her the past few months when I delivered food to her. She was a very blessed to have such a kind and loving care person,(Janice), I am a witness to that. I will never forget Edith, we have lost a dear saint in our community!

I am so sorry to hear the loss of such a wonderful and caring lady. She and her husband Cline were pillars in the little white church I grew up in. Growing up, I was friends with her grandchildren, but Wayne, C.C., and Brian, they were more like family. I want them to know, as well as the entire family, she was very proud of all of you, and if there is anything I can do, please call. God bless you all.

To Michael, Wayland, Emil, Tony and families: I am saddened at the loss of your mother. I always thought she was a fine lady and I know how proud she was to have raised good children to send out into the world. She was such a nice lady.

We were so sorry to hear of Mrs. Porter's passing. Our memories of her were that she possessed a pleasant, positive outlook on life. She truly loved all of her family, her church, and most of all, the Lord. This is her "graduation" day, graduating to a wonderful place set aside for Gods people - no sickness. Our prayers will continue to go up for the entire family.

Dear Emil and family, My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of your mother's loss. I was blessed to have a mom like yours. She has been gone over twelve years and I still miss her so much. She indeed was the best friend I ever had. May your faith give you and yours the strength you need during this sad time.

Nina will be sorely missed. Her failing health those last several years seem patchy in comparison to the decades of love & care she provided in my life. To her sons: You boys did a great job taking care of her--she told me just this past Sunday, "They are such good boys I don't know what I would do without them." She loved everyone-she didn't care if you were a garbage collector or a CEO....all the same in God's eyes.
