Patty Elizabeth Cardwell, 76, of Milton, WV, passed away September 8, 2011 at St. Marys Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1935 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Charles and Nellie Counts. She is survived by her husband, Carl Lawrence Cardwell; one son and daughter-in-law, Carl Lawrence Jr. and Regina Cardwell of Milton; one daughter, Joyce Johnson of Hurricane, WV; two brothers, William Counts of Proctorville, OH, and Donald Ray Counts, of Milton; and grandchildren, Tyler and Matthew Cardwell, Derrick and Kristen Johnson, and Megan Johnson. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Rev. Winford Curry. Burial will be in Culloden Cemetery.
